button design challenge
suspension test stand
easy-clean blender

Challenged to design a device that requires a battery door mechanism to house and cover two AA batteries while opening from a downwards button push. I designed and validated a snap fit spring mechanism to actuate the button.

As part of the Hyperloop Design team, I designed a test stand to assess the suspension system's ability to absorb impact energy. Modelled in SolidWorks, I manually manufactured and assembled the parts together.

This design was inspired by the need for blenders to be easier to clean. This was addressed through the addition of a front spout and an integrated squeegee attachment.
