An all-in-one consumer electronic device, mounted overhead to help with day to day tasks. I helped push DVT designs, draft thermal and mechanical validation plans, and conduct reliability testing.
pod mount
A sleek cosmetic stainless steel overhead mount. Using magnets to provide a strong, smooth connection to the pod. A cable management mechanism hides up to 5ft of cable, allowing user to extend cable length if needed.
robot gripper
A proof-of-concept on an adaptive 2-claw robot gripper, featuring 3-DOF to grasp objects through controllable pinching motion. Integrated with gear trains, servo motors and testing housing to conduct testing and validation.
pod test stand
Built within 1 day to attach and test pods at the designated mounting height. By no means a complex project, but a testament to my ability to work with power tools and get my hands dirty.
