Cambridge Elevating
interlock mount
Designed a mounting solution for part of an emergency lock system for glass elevators. Balancing a solution for safety requirements while accomodating cosmetic constraints and glass cutting limitations.

I interned at Cambridge Elevating as an R&D Engineer Intern, supporting the design and development of custom elevator systems. My day-to-day work involved designing interior and exterior elevator assemblies and producing detailed drawings used by installers for fabrication and installation. I also took ownership of several independent design projects.
tapping jig
Designed sheet metal jigs to help installers accurately located and tap holes, improving accuracy and preventing installation failures.

toe guard
Design a toe guard to protect against moving elevator components, validated through FEA to meet elevator code requirements.
